PG RESIDENCY IN GERMANY

Whether you gained your degree in medicine from a German university or from a university in another country, Germany offers numerous opportunities for further specialist training. The most important one is medical specialty training. In 2010 some 10,500 graduates of medicine successfully trained as specialists in about 40 disciplines.

With PG Residency Program, we offer high-value professional support for preparing a medical career in Germany, and you can thus profit from our long-term experience in international projects. We offer a complete service package, including a German language course (general and special language) as well as support in meeting administrative and intercultural requirements.

The training to become a medical specialist, is done “on the job” in a hospital as an assistant doctor. The average annual salary or stipend for an assistant doctor who has not gained any prior experience as a medical specialist amounts to 60,000 Euros (pre-tax) and will rise quickly afterwards.
