• Hebei Medical University was established by Doctor John Kenneth Mackenjie from UK, which is the first Western Medical School, and also the earliest university in China.
• HMU is recognized by WHO,HNESCO,CSC,CMC, and teaches the whole course with USMLE/PLAB based exam and preparation of the United States. HMU will provide provisional certificate after the completion of 4.5 years course to students who want to do internship in third country

   

The First-Class Teaching and Research Institute

• In 1995, the three colleges of Hebei Medicine College, Hebei TCM College, Shijiazhuang Medicine Junior College merged into Hebei University of Medicine.
• Hebei Medical University is a comprehensive university integrating western medicine,traditional Chinese medicine and pharmacology. Now university owns 16 colleges, 19 majors,18 specialities for doctoral candidates, and 64 specialties for Master candidates. There are more than 20000 students,more than 7400 staffs, 81 supervisors for Ph.D students and 858 supervisors for M.s students.
• Hebei Medical University is not only a center for medical education and medical care, but also a medical research institute.
• The university 1 key national disciplines, 9 key provincial disciplines, 6 provincial key labs and 1 key labs co-established by province and Ministry of Education, 8 provincial research institutes. The university has 250 funded research programs each year.

The university is specialized in offering the foreign student apartment. In each room, an attached bathroom, beds, desks, closets, air-conditioner, and a telephone are provided. It can be provided for one or two people. In the department, the washing machines can be used in free of charge, and also for the boiled water.

The university is 3km from the busy street in the city center, 6Km from train station and 40Km from Shijiazhuang Airport. What’s more, it is 290Km from Beijing Capital Airport and it only takes 2 hours from our university to Beijing by train or bus.

China Three Gorges University (CTGU) in China

ABOUT UNIVERSITY

Having been approved by the Ministry of Education, China Three Gorges University (CTGU) was founded on June 29, 2000, comprising the former Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering/Yichang and Hubei Sanxia University. Its development has been incorporated into the "Tenth five-Year Plan" and "Eleventh five-Year Plan" of Hubei Provincial Government. In 2009, Hubei Provincial Government and the Ministry of Water Resources of the People's Republic of China signed an agreement to co-build CTGU.

CTGU consists of 26 colleges. There are 60 specialties for undergraduate students which cover 9 fields. There are two National Doctoral Programs in the first class disciplines, 20 Master Programs in the first class disciplines, 130 Master Programs in the secondary class disciplines, and 12 professional Master Programs. In recent years, it has been becoming a high-level comprehensive university with the hydroelectric feature.

CAPITAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY IN CHINA

Capital Medical University (CCMU) was founded in 1960. It ranks among the top academic medical institutions in China, and is considered as one of the key municipal universities in Beijing. The founding President, Professor Wu jieping, was a world-renowned urologist, member of both the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The current President is Professor Lu Zhaofeng.Capital Medical University consists of 10 Schools, 14 affiliated hospitals and 1 teaching institution. The university and the affiliated hospitals have a staff of about 20,000. Course Arrangement

Scholarship

Those students with good performance and evaluation can apply for BEIJING GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP by the end of the first academic year.

Degree Awarded

On completing the requirements of the teaching program and passing the graduation examinations successfully, international medical undergraduates will be granted a graduation certificate and conferred a medical degree by the university, if they meet the degree regulations of the university. The English copy of the degree will state MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery).
